Family Fun in the Summer

Yea!! We finished painting the basement!!!

Steph with our new little Krieg Starr on Father's Day. Kirstin and Klint--You done good!!

FAMILY REUNION JUNE 2009
Driving Range Fun in the Rain!

Later that day, the entire family, minus the Starr's and Caden, hiked horsetail falls. Actually we only went as far as right before the meadow due to time restraints. The weather was overcast, threatening to rain, which made it perfect hiking weather. We all had an amazing time.

After the hike we rushed home, got the kiddos settled with yummy pizza and a babysitter, then all us big kids went to Moyle park for delicious food and fun family time. We had the entire park to ourselves. It seemed everyone had a great time. This was the site of the infamous tether ball match between Klinton and Adam. Sorry there is no picture to document, they were all blurry.

Saturday morning Aaron organized a service project for the family. Dad and I can not express how grateful we were to have everyone in the family prune, trim, weed and clean up our entire yard!! You can not believe how much we were all able to accomplish in only three hours!!! Thank you, Thank you to the greatest family in the entire existence of the world!!!!

We ended the day with a great swim party at the Snyder's beautiful resort!! Everyone had so much fun that we all forgot to bring cameras or take pictures, but things like the race between Adam and Aaron (with fins), Garrett's flips off the diving board, Matilda's dunk with her dad off the slide, me, actually getting in the pool, Krieg sleeping the entire three hours, and the yummy rootbeer floats to top off the afternoon will forever be enblazened on my mind. Thanks everyone for making this a memorable time together.

Here are a couple more of the beautiful snow.

SNOWY DAY

Sunday we had a beautiful Sunny Easter. Three days later, this is what Alpine looked like. It was beautiful both times.

HAPPY EASTER

I mentioned to Adam that we may not be having an Easter Egg Hunt this year. That didn't set too well! He called Melody and told her to go bolistic because she heard the news of no egg hunt. She is not capable of going bolistic, she is too kind and understanding. Anyway, it worked out that our whole family was able to get together for Easter, so of course, we had a little hunt. It was fun. Here is a small sampling of the fun.

I wanted to make all the pictures large so we old fogies could see them better, but this is the only one that worked, then it turned sideways. Sorry. Thought it would be fun to see the yummy feast.
Later in the Evening were invited to an early birthday party for Matilda at the Snyders (Brave People!) It was so great and fun to watch Matilda totally devour her first chocolate cake! Yes Aaron, she really did love it. We hope to get a few photos from the Sndyers, because they tell us they turned out great.

K' and Caden trip:

I have decided to just post current events and not worry about catching up. This way we can at least start letting Tyler see what is happening in our world here in Alpine. In March, Caden and I went to St. George for his first traveling baseball tournament. We were able to visit with and Stay at GPA and GMA Avery's. It was a nice trip. One of the best parts was that Scott surprised us and got a ride to St. George Friday evening so we got to spend the last day together
